Browns should trade for Jason Taylor

Honestly, this isn't that far fetched of an idea for them to entertain. You know the Tuna is high on DA, so why not offer him plus next year's 2nd rounder for Jason Taylor. The going rate for an NFL lineman is a 3rd and a 5th, or a CB and a 3rd. I see that as fair/equal value.

According to PFT, Taylor wants out of Miami, but doesn't want to publicly demand it beacuse of fear that Parcells won't grant him his wish. You know that Taylor, who will turn 34 in September, still has a few good years left and his contract runs through 2009 and could be signed to an incentive laden extension. It's rumored that he doesn't want to play for a team in re-building mode, so why not come to one of the youngest and more up and coming teams in the NFL?

Sure, I like DA and am glad he resigned, but you gotta give up something to get something. Giving up a QB, who has real game experience, and a future 2nd rounder I think is actually giving higher value than the average for a D-Lineman. This is just an idea on how to really solidify a defense that has been the subject of much criticism in recent years.
