According to PFT and ESPN, the Cleveland Browns have signed WR Dante Stallworth to a 5 year deal, reportedly with $10 million guaranteed. They have just added more shot power for the big squirt on offense. Way to stay active and do what it takes to get better.
UPDATE: PFT reports that the Stallworth deal is worth $35 million over five years, with $10 million guaranteed.
UPDATE 2: Thank God the Browns signed Stallworth when they did. The Minnesota Vikings have just signed Bernard Barrian to a six year $42 million, with $16 guaranteed. It looks like Phil made a great deal for Dante in lieu of the contract that an under-achieving WR got in Minnesota. Good work Phil.
